Well done to everyone on another great performance against a strong Cambs and County side in the Cambs and District Champion of Champions Final.

After picking up some big ends towards the end of the match, once again, it went down to the wire. Geoff, Andrea and Denise very nearly held on for the win but Colin Endersby played an excellent wood to get the two shots they needed to tie the match.

So, Matt, Gino and Peter M had to play the extra end and narrowly missed out on gaining the shots they needed.

Overall however, it was an excellent result against a team two divisions higher than ourselves and with performances like that it should hold us in good stead going into division 2. Well done to all who played in the match!
