Last weekend saw the annual C.U.P Presentation Dinner.
This was a most enjoyable evening and thanks must go to those who organised the function. Thanks must also go to Chesterton Indoor Bowls Club for hosing the event.
Robert Thomson was awarded the overall club highest scorer.
Due to external activities this season we were unable to conduct club competitions. However, individual scores were worked out for players in each league.
In the County League, Robert Thomson won the highest shots difference. Valarie Cutting and Peter Thomson were runners up.
In the Cambs & District League, Pam Thomson won the highest shots difference. Geoff and Denise Emery were runners up.
In the Business House Men’s League, Matt Thomson won the highest shots difference. Peter and Robert Thomson were runners up.
In the Business House Mixed League, Pam Thomson won the highest shots difference. Denise Emery and Des Thomson were runners up.
Geoff and Denise Emery and Colin and Christina Stephens were recognised for there participation in every County League and Cambs & District game.
Also, during the dinner Peter Stocker was honoured for his service to the club over the past years and was awarded life membership at the club.
Work is already underway for next season and things are looking rosy!!
